Banner Engineering PIRS1X166UMPM2.4 is a fiber sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a 0.25mm fiber core diameter and a 6ft (approximately 2m) length. The sensing area is rectangular, measuring 38x19mm, and is constructed from plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath for the sensing end. It is engineered to operate within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C.
