Banner Engineering PIRS1X1630U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series, characterized by a 0.25mm fiber core diameter and a 30ft (approximately 9m) length. The sensing end and the fiber are made of plastic, with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath encapsulating the assembly. Its rectangular shape is engineered to operate within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C, making it suitable for a variety of industrial environments where precise and compact sensing solutions are required.
