Banner Engineering PIFM46U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode miniature ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. It is part of the Plastic fiber series, with a cylindrical (smooth) end tip shape. The sensor has a diameter of 3mm at the end and a 1mm fiber core. It is constructed with a stainless steel sensing end, plastic fiber, and a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various environments. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m, facilitating flexible installation options.
