PIE46UT Description
Banner Engineering PIE46UT is a fiber optic sensor designed for in-line sensing with a through-beam system or opposed mode ferrule end tip pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a cylindrical (smooth) end tip with a diameter of 3mm and a 0.5mm fiber core. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m.
