PIA16U Description
Banner Engineering PIA16U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It has a 0.5mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber series. The sensor is characterized by a rectangular shape with a stainless steel sensing end, and the fiber is encased in a plastic fiber polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It has a length of 3ft / 1m and is specified for operation in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
