Banner Engineering PDIS46UM12 is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, functioning as an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It features a 1mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber series. The sensor is equipped with a slot shape, and its construction includes a plastic sensing end along with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. The total length of the fiber is 6ft (approximately 2m). This sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
