Banner Engineering PBP415UM.5 is a fiber optic sensor designed for diffuse-reflective system applications, featuring a probe tip bifurcated fiber in-line sensing mechanism. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and comes with a cylindrical (threaded) probe tip. The design incorporates a 3mm diameter at the sensing end and a 1mm fiber core, ensuring precise operation. The sensing end is made of stainless steel, while the fiber is plastic, and the fiber sheath is constructed from Polyethylene (PE), offering durability and resilience. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m, facilitating versatile installation options.
