MIAD9LVAG Description

Banner Engineering MIAD9LVAG is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of detection applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. This sensor is designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for precise control. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for easy connection. As part of the MIAD9 NAMUR series, it offers a high degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with a nominal 12Vdc, and is housed in a thermoplastic casing with an acrylic lens. It has a sensing distance range of 5cm to 2m and emits a visible red light for detection. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, and it features 1 x digital output (NAMUR) with a quick response time of 5ms / 0.005 s.
