MAR616NX485Q Description

Banner Engineering MAR616NX485Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series designed for edge/profile sensing with a focus on measuring light screen arrays. This model, functioning as a receiver alone, features a 143mm array length within a rectangular, aluminium housing. It offers a 3/4" / 19mm beam spacing/pitch and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail that terminates with an M12 mini-style connector. The sensor operates on a RS-485 communication protocol and requires a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. With a sensing distance ranging from 90cm to 16.5m, it also includes 2 x digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and can detect object sizes between 25.4-38.1mm.
