Banner Engineering MAR3616NX485Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series designed for edge/profile sensing with a measuring light screen array function, specifically as a receiver unit. It features a 905mm array length in a rectangular shape with an aluminium housing. The sensor has a 3/4" / 19mm beam spacing/pitch and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail that terminates with an M12 mini-style connector. It utilizes an RS-485 communication protocol and operates on a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The MAR3616NX485Q is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. It has a sensing distance range of 90cm to 16.5m and includes 2 x digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC).
