Banner Engineering MAR1816NX485Q is a sensor from the MINI-ARRAY 2-piece models series, designed as a measuring light screen array edge/profile sensor (receiver alone). It features a 448mm array length with a rectangular shape and an aluminium housing. The sensor has a 3/4" / 19mm beam spacing/pitch and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PVC pigtail terminated with an M12 mini-style connector. It utilizes an RS-485 communication protocol and operates on a supply voltage of 16Vdc-30Vdc (24Vdc nom.). The MAR1816NX485Q can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40...+70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 UL type 1. It has a sensing distance ranging from 90cm to 16.5m and includes 2 x digital outputs (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC). The resolution is 3/4" / 19mm, and it can detect object sizes between 25.4-38.1mm.
