M18TIP14Q Description
Banner Engineering M18TIP14Q is a non-contact infrared (IR) temperature sensor/transmitter, part of the M18T series. It features a design incorporating Germanium lens and TEACH mode functionality. The sensor operates with infrared light and has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape. Its construction includes a stainless steel 304 housing, ABS / Polycarbonate (PC) push-button housing, Thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) push-button, Germanium lens, and Acrylic light pipes. This part is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc-30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The M18TIP14Q can measure temperatures ranging from 0 to +300°C and is designed to operate in ambient air temperatures from -20 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The sensor provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA) and 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for alarms, with a response time of 75ms / 0.075 s.
