M18SP6R W/30 Description
Banner Engineering M18SP6R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the M18 series. This sensor operates as a receiver alone, utilizing infrared (IR) light. It features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a stainless steel housing and a polycarbonate lens. The sensor is pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It supports a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The M18SP6R W/30 can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K and NEMA 6P. It includes a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, has a thread size of M18, a sensing distance of up to 20m, and a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
