M18-4VPLPC-2M Description
Banner Engineering M18-4VPLPC-2M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (stainless steel) series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a stainless steel casing with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. The M18-4VPLPC-2M can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has a thread size of M18, and can sense objects up to a distance of 6m. Additionally, it is equipped with 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and has a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
