Banner Engineering M18-4VPFF50-Q5 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M18-3 (stainless steel) series, designed with a background/foreground suppression system. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a stainless steel casing with an acrylic lens and a PVC connector. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The M18-4VPFF50-Q5 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, with an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape for easy installation. It has a sensing distance of 50mm and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
