Banner Engineering M18-4VNLP-Q8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (stainless steel) series designed in a retro-reflective mode. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a durable stainless steel with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The M18-4VNLP-Q8 can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a sensing distance of up to 6 meters. It is equipped with one digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and has a response time of 1.5ms or 0.0015 seconds. This sensor also boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, ensuring its operation in various environmental conditions. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
