M18-3VPRS-2M Description
Banner Engineering M18-3VPRS-2M is a photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a nickel-plated brass housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, with an operating mode that includes Light-ON and Dark-ON options. The M18-3VPRS-2M has a thread size of M18, a sensing distance of up to 25m, and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
