M18-3VPRL-2M Description
Banner Engineering M18-3VPRL-2M is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a nickel-plated brass housing and an acrylic lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed to work in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON. It has an M18 thread size, a sensing distance of up to 25m, and features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
