M18-3VPLPC-2M Description
Banner Engineering M18-3VPLPC-2M is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a nickel-plated brass material with an acrylic lens. It has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 °C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K, with an operating mode that includes Light-ON and Dark-ON options. The sensing distance is up to 6m, and it features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
