M18-3VPLP-Q8 Description
Banner Engineering M18-3VPLP-Q8 is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with a visible red light. This sensor features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a nickel-plated brass housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc (with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), and emits light at a wavelength of 624 nm. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a thread size of M18. It has a sensing distance of up to 6 meters and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s.
