Banner Engineering M18-3VNLV-Q8 is a photo-electric sensor from the M18-3 (Nickel-plated brass) series designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 624 nm and is housed in a nickel-plated brass with an acrylic lens. This sensor is shaped in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel form and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 °C. The M18-3VNLV-Q8 offers a sensing distance of 7.5m and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 1.5ms / 0.0015 s. It is designed for both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and provides a degree of protection rated at IP67 and IP69K.
