Banner Engineering M12PFF50 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M12 series, featuring a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment. It utilizes visible red light, has an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, and is constructed from nickel-plated brass housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and has a wavelength of 680 nm. Designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 °C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6.
