Banner Engineering M12PFF25 is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M12 series, featuring a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment. It utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm and is encased in a nickel-plated brass housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. This sensor is designed in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C. The M12PFF25 offers a sensing distance of 25mm and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6, and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
