LX9E Description
Banner Engineering LX9E is a sensor array characterized by its standard-range part-sensing light screen cross-hatched array, functioning as an emitter alone. It features a 218mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This part is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The LX9E has a net height of 266mm, a width of 26mm, and a depth of 32mm. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it ensures durability against dust and water ingress. The sensing distance spans from 30cm to 2m, and it is capable of detecting objects as small as 9.5mm.
