LX6RSR Description
Banner Engineering LX6RSR is a sensor array designed for short-range part-sensing, featuring a light screen / curtain cross-hatched array (receiver alone). It has a 143mm array length and is housed in aluminum with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This rectangular sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), with a net height of 190 mm, width of 26 mm, and depth of 32 mm. The LX6RSR can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. It features Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, a sensing distance of 100...200mm, and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). The response time is 1.6ms / 0.0016 s, and it can detect objects as small as 5.6mm.
