LX3R Description
Banner Engineering LX3R is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a cross-hatched light screen, functioning as a receiver alone. It features a 67mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired, including a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The LX3R has dimensions of 114mm in height, 26mm in width, and 32mm in depth, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It is rated with an IP65 degree of protection, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a sensing distance ranging from 30cm to 2m. It offers one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and boasts a rapid response time of 0.8ms. The sensor is capable of detecting objects as small as 9.5mm.
