LX12E Description

Banner Engineering LX12E is a sensor array designed for standard-range part-sensing with a light screen cross-hatched array, functioning as an emitter alone. It features a 295mm array length within a rectangular shape, constructed from an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. This unit is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, supporting a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The LX12E measures 342mm in height, 26mm in width, and 32mm in depth. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. The sensing distance spans from 30cm to 2m, and it can detect objects as small as 9.5mm.
