LT3NU Description
Banner Engineering LT3NU is a Class 2 laser photo-electric distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the LT3 series. It features a diffuse time-of-flight system with TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 658 nm and is encased in a rectangular ABS housing with an acrylic window. It is designed for direct connection through a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable with bare end flying leads. The LT3NU operates on a supply voltage of 12Vdc-24Vdc and offers protection against short-circuits. It is capable of sensing distances ranging from 30cm to 5m and provides both analog (0-10Vdc) and digital (NPN transistor) outputs. The device operates efficiently within an ambient air temperature up to +50°C and is protected against ingress by its IP67 NEMA 6 rated enclosure.
