LT3BD Description
Banner Engineering LT3BD is a Class 2 laser photo-electric distance sensor, part of the LT3BD series, designed with a diffuse time-of-flight system and TEACH mode. It emits visible red light with a wavelength of 658 nm from a rectangular-shaped body made of ABS housing and an acrylic window. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for connectivity. It operates within a supply voltage range of 12Vdc-24Vdc and can function in ambient air temperatures up to +50°C. The LT3BD offers a sensing distance range from 30cm to 5m and includes 2 digital outputs (2PNP/NPN transistor), ensuring adaptability to various distance sensing applications. It is protected against short-circuits and boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, signifying its robustness against dust and water ingress.
