Banner Engineering EZLSA-HTE-R23-280 is a safety light curtain designed for hand detection with a resolution of 23mm and a protective height of 280mm. It features an FDA-approved hygienic polycarbonate (PC) housing, PVC cable, and stainless steel end cap, making it suitable for environments requiring stringent hygiene standards. This part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55 °C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, IP67, and IP69K, ensuring durability against dust, water, and high-pressure water jets. It emits infrared (IR) light and has a response time of 8.2ms. The device includes 2 digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) for connectivity. It is capable of sensing distances from 10cm up to 8.4m and is part of the LS series type 4 safety light curtain in an IP69K hygienic housing. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 25ft cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It requires a 24Vdc supply voltage, and the cable has a diameter of 63.5mm. The housing is colored yellow, with a beam spacing/pitch of 23mm and a net height of 443 mm.
