Banner Engineering DX80N2X1S-P14-NB is a Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) designed for surface mounting. It features a polycarbonate housing, a polycarbonate rotary dial cover, polyester labels, an EDPM rubber cover gasket, and nitrile rubber, ensuring durability in various environments. This unit operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 and NEMA 6, suitable for demanding conditions. With dimensions of H62.6mm x W106.7mm x D80.1mm, it includes 1 digital output (switching power), 2 analog inputs (one for 0-20mA / 0-10Vdc; 12-bit and another for Thermistor 10kΩ), and 2 digital inputs (one for 30Vdc 3mA; PNP/NPN and another for a 10kHz counter). The DX80N2X1S-P14-NB operates on a 2400 MHz transmission frequency, has a rectangular shape, and is part of the SureCross DX80 series. Its design incorporates 2 buttons, 2 bi-color LEDs, and utilizes FHSS (Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum) technology for reliable communication. Connection is facilitated through a wiring chamber with screw-clamp connections and 2 x 1/2" NPT threaded cable accesses, alongside an RP-SMA connector. It requires a 3.6Vdc supply voltage (internal battery not included) and operates on a 2.4GHz ISM band frequency with 65mW power, capable of achieving a maximum transmission distance of 3.2km at nominal emission power.
