DF-G3-PI-2M Description
Banner Engineering DF-G3-PI-2M is an amplifier designed for sensor applications, featuring a DIN rail mount and constructed with a thermoplastic housing. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers one analog output (4-20mA) alongside a digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC). This part, belonging to the DF-G3 Expert series, is characterized by its rectangular shape and is designed for long-range fiber optic sensor amplification with a visible red light color at a wavelength of 635 nm. It includes a TEACH mode high-power design and is equipped with a pre-wired 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads for connectivity. The DF-G3-PI-2M operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and features a degree of protection rated at IP50 NEMA 1, with a rapid response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s.
