SMU315CV Description
Banner Engineering SMU315CV is a photo-electric sensor from the SMU315 universal voltage series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It supports a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) for AC and 24Vdc-240Vdc (48Vdc / 120Vdc / 220Vdc nom.) for DC. The SMU315CV is equipped for mounting with an M18 threaded mount and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (SPDT rly. contact), with a sensing distance of 16mm. It utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and has a response time of 20ms / 0.02 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
