SM31RQD Description
Banner Engineering SM31RQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor functions as a receiver alone, housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens. It is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The SM31RQD operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. This sensor is protected to a degree of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The rectangular-shaped sensor offers 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 3m, and utilizes infrared (IR) light. It boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s and supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
