SLM180B6 Description
Banner Engineering SLM180B6 is a photo-electric sensor within the SLM series, featuring a rugged metal slot/optical fork design with potentiometer adjustment. This sensor is housed in nickel-plated die-cast zinc with an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The SLM180B6 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. The sensor's shape is a slot (U-shaped) with a passageway width of 180mm and a height of 140mm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), a sensing distance of 180mm, and a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a net depth of 12mm.
