Banner Engineering S18AW3R is a photo-electric sensor designed as part of the S18 AC series, featuring a through-beam system in an opposed mode configuration. This sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is housed in a thermoplastic body with a polycarbonate lens. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates in bare end flying leads for connection. The S18AW3R operates on a supply voltage ranging from 20Vac to 250Vac, with nominal voltages at 200Vac, 220Vac, and 240Vac. It is designed to work within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. This sensor offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation.
