Q853E-B Description
Banner Engineering Q853E-B is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an emitter alone configuration. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is equipped with a potentiometer adjustment without timing for precise control. This sensor offers a wiring chamber connection type and supports a wide supply voltage range, including 24Vac-240Vac (with 120Vac and 220Vac nominal) and 12Vdc-240Vdc (with 48Vdc and 120Vdc nominal), making it versatile for various installation requirements. Part of the Q85 series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 13 degree of protection, ensuring durability in challenging environments. The Q853E-B has a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens, featuring a yellow housing color. It is capable of sensing distances up to 23m and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm for detection.
