Banner Engineering PDIS48UM32 is a fiber optic sensor designed for use in applications requiring a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers. It operates effectively at an ambient air temperature up to +70°C. This sensor is part of the Plastic fiber series and features a 1mm fiber core diameter, ensuring precise detection within its 15.5x8.3mm sensing area. The slot shape of the sensor is specifically designed for easy integration into various setups. It is constructed with a plastic sensing end and a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath, providing durability and flexibility. The total length of the fiber is 6ft / 2m, accommodating installations that require a longer reach.
